Families can enjoy free drop-in activities at the Summer Arts Pop-up, open every Wednesday to Saturday, 11am–3pm, in the Upper Mall next to The Entertainer.
Highlights include:
- Lego corner, cardboard construction, games, and crafts
- Artist-led workshops and cultural activities
- VR dance experience
- Exhibitions by young creatives and local schools
- Chill-out reading space and teen zone
- Child Friendly Nottingham listening sessions
- Creative Futures workshops (Wednesdays 4–6pm) exploring creative careers with Young Creative Awards Alumni.
The Summer Arts Pop Up is a collaboration between Young Creatives Nottingham, ChalleNGe (Local Cultural Education Partnership), Arts Partners and is supported by Victoria Centre, Nottingham. It is part of the Child Friendly Creative City initiative, launched in June 2025.
